Jolie Star In Plazaville!

Post by Admin on Tue Dec 20, 2011 9:51 pm

I'm Jolie Star, and this is my story:

Fresh out of high school and an aspiring star, of course not a lot of people get there. I was in my high school's drama club and that helped me A LOT.
I started working part time at the spa as a specialist/receptionist. That went well, except I was late....a lot. But they kept me, they needed the help. My college was appropriately named: Stary College. Because that's who I wanted to be. A star. Anyways, that's when I met Kerei. She was a cute Asian girl who lived in the high rise around the block. We hung out lots. Then, I finally met my neighbor right across from me in the complex I lived in. Frankie. He was cute and we had the same classes. Kerei and I had become best friends and gossiped a lot, but it was when Frankie came in the picture when I was more infatuated with him. Kerei didn't mind, she was a good friend. Frankie, Kerei and I would essentially hang together sometimes. Frankie and Kerei were also pretty good friends. Frankie was the one who told me Kerei was flirting with Trever...another classmate.
I had no interest in Trever at all except that whatever he did....or his parents...made him somewhat of a celebrity, and hanging out with Kerei made her in the tabloids, too. Kerei became popular, quick. It wasn't just because of Trevor, but she was RICH. Kerei and I as best friends, the paparazzi would follow US.
That's when MY stardom began. Kerei and I became BFFs. We loved to shop and go to movies. We mostly had sleepovers at my place, even though Kerei's place was WAY better. It just ended up that way. My place was crappy and even though I was becoming popular, I wasn't all that wealthy. From rags to riches, I suppose. Frankie and I promised to be BFFs too....but that didn't work out in the long run
. We all graduated and it was that time when we became distant. I got a job at Plumbob Pictures backlot. I ran a lot of errands, most of them being lunch. Frankie and I were great, we dated and after a long while, we were even engaged. High school sweethearts. Kerei threw me a bachelorette party. There were some people there, but for some reason, I can't remember them all that well. I guess they weren't important. Frankie and I didn't move in together, even though it wouldn't be much of a hassle....he lived right across from me.
After a while, I really got into my career. I wasn't making big bucks, but I was very involved. There were paparazzi around the town a lot, sometimes even taking pictures of me...but it's not like they ended up anywhere. No one even asked for my autograph. But since I was local, a lot of places gave me discounts because they knew my line of work and the people at the diner & spa really thought I had It in me.
I even got a designer rug from a manufacturer because they knew I was working at the backlot. It was yellow and ugly.

The director. He was dreamy. Do you know how hard it is to even get to TALK to a director? A producer? But I guess he had a thing for errand girls, because he took my feedback into his movies. That was a huge honor, even though people didn’t really believe me when I said “remember that part? I totally came up with it!” . Donny and I conversed a lot. Then I actually got invited to one of his parties. I learned he had a wife, Jillian. I never talked to her. She was small, a pacific islander, and not all that hot. Which is weird, you’d think he’d have better taste. But his daughter and son seemed really nice. That's where I signed my first autograph. Donny's daughter, Kirsti I think was her name? She asked for it, she knew I would be huge. It was a huge compliment. Shame I don’t remember her name.
Donny and I became friends. We went to premiere's together and he put me as an extra in some of his films. A maid, a random astronaut, and an extra alien here or there. After he buzzed into my complex after a shoot one day, I actually became bold enough. ME. I made the moves. I was confident. It was amazing he actually showed up to my crappy apartment complex. Him and I became hot, quick. Frankie and I broke up. It was mainly because I was hanging with the rich and the famous and little Frankie? He didn't cut it. I didn't even know what he wanted to be in life. He was just....a funny guy. And I mean sense of humor. Frankie and I were ENGAGED. We didn't even move in together or see each other a lot. I didn't really know if he even HAD a job. He didn’t even know about Donny. He probably found out about us later. I’m pretty sure he thought the break up was out of emotional distance. Yeah... we were naive and going nowhere. I never saw him again.
Back to Donny the director, it was going great. Then I asked for Donny to break up with his wife after we did it in the shower. It's actually surprising he did agree for separation and then I got a bad rep in town. Word spread and attention of the ‘heartbreaker’ went to me and my rep escalated but not in a good way. At least I finally got recognized.  Magazine covers splashed about Donny the director and his disastrous divorce. How tragic. Back then, I didn't even pay attention or think. I was so stupid. I didn't think about his kids, his wife, and his career. Just me, him, and love. Or what I THOUGHT was love. We were happy….for a while. Jillian and I got into a bit of a rut. Sure she hated me, why wouldn't she? I remember seeing her at a premiere, alone. She gave me a look. I don’t blame her.
Donny and moved in together, right after the divorce. Into a beautiful Blue Bell starter home. Very small, homey, and country. Not really my style but it was nice with all my expensive furniture. I have never parted with that blue Victorian couch I got straight from the company. That first rug I threw away. Donny went into medicine. Why? I don't really know. But he started working at the hospital when we moved in. You know what was interesting?

He never called the kids. Ever. Rendell and Selena? Or was it Kristi? Rendell and the daughter never called or visited. And you know what I realized? I wanted kids. My own. I talked to Donny about it. Getting engaged, married, and knocked up was in my whole life plan! I recalled that he never talked to his kids or had much of a relationship with them. Did they hate me? Did his daughter really want my autograph? Or was the first time I went to that party genuine or just to get connections? I’m sure with a successful producer as a daddy that’s probably how they grew up. I told Donny...maybe they could live with us. I did want some kind of relationship with my boyfriend’s kids. But, that would be so much work, kids.
Homework, all that, already half grown up. TEENAGERS. I wanted to have at least one of my own kids with him.  Raising a baby from scratch instead of teenagers with hormones was completely different.
I was thinking of shipping Rendell and what's her face daughter to some boarding school. But then I thought.....what about after that? I've always wanted a strong connection and relationship with my kids. Would we have that? How would I raise them? What about Jillian? It was all so much and overwhelming. I didn't want that kind of drama and stress in my life! I shouldn’t have ruined it for her. When it was just Donny and I...it was just...us! And I tore him apart from his family.
And then you know what? He moved out. He moved back to Jillian, Rendell, and the little blondey. It was mutual, though. I couldn't handle it. The media was also a lot for him. Could you imagine?
I was career focused and moved on up to an official supporting-actor roles. Yup, me.
Miss drama club and relationship-unsavvy was moving on up. That's when I saw Trever. Yup, Trever.
I was at the theater. I had just got a sim choice award. I saw Trever Nix, and you know what? He was engaged to miss ex-BFF Kerei. And Kerei and I had just chatted on the phone the other day, actually. Other day meaning a week ago. We never talk on the phone long, and it's not really a catch-up type of talk, either. We just say hi, what are you doing, where you going, and bye.
The small island of Plazaville was growing, and new a exclusive VIP lounge opened. Carmine.
Trever and I caught up there. He was cute, charming even. Got a new 'do. We hit it off and went to my place....I'm sure you can think of what happened next. No, not sex.
Kerei and him broke up the next day and she never wanted to talk to me again. Kerei and I got distant anyways.  I was somewhat heartbroken but at the same time love-struck with Trever, this new nice guy who I have history with. The guy who GOT my ex-bff famous! I owed a lot to him, I thought. But every time I tried to get him into bed, he stopped me. He hated PDA and didn't like it even in private. We never really held hands, watched the stars, or made out, really. And then I thought he would've been great if only he showed some signs of being romantically involved. We never had sex, but we were into each other.
It just didn't happen. I asked to just be friends. We didn’t talk much after that.
A relationship broken over nothing. And I mean Kerei’s.  They never got back together, and she never forgave me. I don’t blame her.. I should have explored my connection with Trever before throwing myself all over him. It was his choice to hang out with me, though. And Kerei's choice to jump to conclusions. I really shouldn't have ruined it for her.
She was actually engaged to him, and happy. But seeing as I charmed him, he probably didn’t feel the same way about her.
No sex is just a party pooper. How did she live with that? Sometimes Donny was like that, too. And I found out he was when I went to the VIP Lounge, Carmine. I saw him and I ordered a Passion Pom, talking to Tiffany Nix, who's Trever's sister. It was just small talk, she's famous, too. The whole family. A chef I think, on cooking cable. Food's big here.
Anyways, Donny was there and he was hitting on the new young paparazzi. I'm sure you can guess why he was rejecting some from me when he just got some the night before from even fresher talent than me. And guess what? He went back to being a director, but thank god not for my studio.
Remember how I said Plazaville was growing? It was. There was a new Chinese takeout RIGHT by work and new construction all over. I even had new neighbors by my little country-home abode. Holden and Gwen. They claim they were just roommates, and I believed them. They were COMPLETE opposites. Holden was so...conservative and bookish. Gwen was wild with bright long orange hair and loves to go out. Holden and I hit it off quick and went to the new dive bar around the block. I'm so divergent about bars besides VIP. But this seemed nice, actually. We had a round of onion rings and shuffleboard. Sure, we flirted a little. He was an aspiring writer and was really smart and funny. I made SURE he was single. And he was. We made a note to go out again sometime and exchanged numbers.
We were great friends for a long time. We hung out at home, no sex, maybe a hint here or there. We were clearly into each other. But went wrong? Especially according to my past.  Something HAD to go wrong, right? NOTHING went wrong! It was perfect, we were just friends.
One day I had actually convinced myself to go to Chinese Take-Out King or whatever it was called after work. It was a nice and cute place. But since Kerei is the only Asian I ever saw in Plazaville, of course it was run by an old blonde woman. That's when I saw Quinton. Tall and muscular. Moved right in the lot behind me. He was playing darts! Yes, the small somewhat-mediocre-gourmet Chinese place had DARTS off in the corner! It was probably there to distract customers from the horribly long wait & queues. The dart board was kind of in a random spot but I won't complain because Quinton and I hit it off. He asked me to get drinks, which usually I'm opposed to because I like to be the one RECIEVING drinks. Haha, but he was a nice enough guy plus he was the new guy in town and needed a tour. We got sparkly bubbly fruity drinks. And you know what? I'm not going to Take-Out King again. I swear they slipped something in my drink because I thought I was seeing stars. But they ACTUALLY were stars. Quinton and I were sitting down in front of the place making constellation connections in the sky and he took my finger and drew a bird. We went home and yes I think you can guess what happened next. And YES you could be right. This time it really did have something to do with the bed…
I woke up and baked cookies. The way to a man's heart is through his stomach! It took me a while to decide what to make, but cookies seemed good enough as any for breakfast, right? But they burned.
Quinton woke up to the smell. It was embarrassing but he actually ate them with me. We both joked this was something to laugh about in the future. Future? Future! Yes, a nice future.  My happily ever after I thought! I became a lead star in my work. I wasn’t just in movies but TV shows, now, too.
And talk shows!
Quinton and I frequently went out to the bistro and other nice places where they gave me hefty discounts. Which was definitely not the Chinese restaurant. I was thinking of inviting Quinton to move in with me. It was going quite well. He had great hair, too. But did he have a job? No. It was a couple weeks since he moved in; you'd think he'd have found something by now. But he didn't. We sat down and talked over nice simolean sunrise drinks during happy hour. What did I learn? He was a slob. A slob! How could I not have noticed? He was perfect in every way except he'd leave things here and there around the house, he never used manners, cleaned after himself, and he wiped his mouth with his sleeve! How did I not notice anything when he asked ME to get the drinks at Takeout King? Who helped clean up the burnt cookie mess? He asked the waitress what a napkin was when she offered him one. Uh...rude much?
Sure I ignored it in the beginning; he was so sweet to me and kind of funny. But this kind of rude joking won't get a man with me anywhere. So, I cut it off. It was really annoying. He moved out.
I was doing great and got a golden orb award. I went back to Holden for advice. He was really nice. It was especially nice seeing him after I pretty much ignored him just to be with Quinton and that wasn't really nice. Him and Gwen even hosted a party that I was invited to and I ignored it just to get dirty with Quinton. I apologized, and Holden accepted graciously. It was really nice of him; he didn't hold it against me and really understood. We sat on my couch talking. He told me he was with Gwen and it broke my heart. Why her? They were totally different and although "opposites attract" can be a rule, they were just no way compatible! Sure maybe as friends....I guess you never know. What's worse is that he was engaged to her. And you know what selfish thing I did? I got friendly with him. Yup, I had the celebrity actress charm and I worked it out to the max. He's not an "easy" guy. He's the guy a lot of the girls want because he's independent and doesn't take crap. He's genuine and listens. Obviously by this time I got over myself only dating the famous (cough cough Frankie). Holden definitely wasn't famous, he just moved here a few months ago. He had the potential to be famous though. An ambitious writer.
I did think of Frankie a lot and how I treated him just because he wasn't with the elite. I guess I was more stuck up than I thought because this Holden guy is unlike any one I've been with so far and I didn’t care much about his rep.
He was a good friend. A really good friend and I kept treating him so selfish! You know what I did? I asked him to break it off with Gwen! And he accepted. Gwen hates me too now and she kicked him out so he lived with me. It’s really dumb because she never helped pay the rent. It was all Holden who was responsible. I wouldn’t be surprised if she had to suffer foreclosure.
I caused Holden pain. It was nice being there for him and having him accept my affection. It wasn't funny what I did though. He was all sugar and pie to be and I was all turmoil and demanding with him. Although it was his choice to say yes or no to my break up proposal with Gwen, I guess his choice did mean I was enough for him.  He really isn’t one to crumble under pressure or a people-pleaser, so I knew his yes was authentic. But what I really think drove him to say yes to me was that Gwen was just a crazy wild party bitch and would most likely cheat on him on the long run anyway! She is a nice kid though, I suppose. Holden did keep saying she wasn't for him and I'm glad.
He's a really handy guy to have around. The dishwasher and shower broke and he got them done all by himself. I didn’t have to ask or be a pest and he saved me well around $100! He's popular with his handiwork. Something happened over by the diner and they called him to have something done.
He's also writer, self-employed. He hasn't written anything yet so it's kinda funny. I guess he needs a muse and I hope to be it one day. I'm sure he'll get started soon and be magnificent at it. No doubts.
For now, we're friends. Of course I want to be more, but what I've learned is don't rush things.
I've really gotten to know him and it's been the best it's ever been for me. Nothing has gone wrong yet but  I certainly fear it will! We go to movies, lounges, and watch TV all the time together. I think he may be the one. I definitely KNOW I've never known anyone like this. All the stupid mistakes I’ve done and he doesn't mind or care. He isn’t a slob, cheater, has kids or is unaffectionate! So no flaws….yet! We were I finally exclusive, by the way.
Gwen invited him to a party and he rejected, duh. She has some nerve to do, that.
I was at the ultimate peak of my career. I was signing autographs, getting noticed, attending the simmy awards….I won best actress! And the whole time, Holden was by my side! It was known quickly that we were together and plastered all over the place. We were  finally exclusive, by the way. Not just friends. Thanks to the press, haha! Paparazzi were also all over our new house. It’s right across from the theater, now. Kind of rustic but I liked it. While unpacking, I found some old flowers and I placed them on the table. They were from Donny long ago. Yellow daisies. Second or third date. Definitely before we moved in with each other... Anyways! Enough about the past!
The owner of the Cinema Movieplex handed the place over to me. Holden and I inherited a  lot of money.  Although Holden was countlessly quoted in magazine’s about being a writer, he still hadn’t written anything at all. In fact, he pretty much just fixed things around the house, had a fishing hobby and shopped for groceries. I shouldn’t complain, though. Not a lot of guys, that I’ve met at least, would do those things. He got friendly with the paparazzi, he was new at this.

Holden and I dated for a while and headed to the new neighborhood pool. It was kind of…you know….public. And dirty. But when night came we were in the hot tub together the clothes came off and sparks flew. Our first time. That last feared flaw was definitely off the list!
Before I knew it, my birthday popped up and what did Holden buy me? Chinese Take-Out King.
No, not the food. Nope, not their drinks. The place. He bought the property, and thank god it wasn’t a chain restaurant or there would be other business involved. Buying the place was kind of a joke, and it got funny….eventually. My birthday was one hell of a day. I got Chinese Take-Out King, Holden proposed to me IN MY PAJAMAS  , and I also found out…..I was pregnant!
The hot tub really did get hot….my oven was baking! I was really happy at this point. I’ve always wanted kids and with a new spacious house, Holden my fiancé, and my bank filled to the brim, how could this be a disaster? I was finally, legitimately, happy!
Nothing too eventful between my birthday and our wedding day except that Holden liked the idea of getting free food at Chinese Take-Out King and when he realized he was sick of Chinese, he switched to the diner right between the cinema and spa. He bought it. Wedding present for himself he’d joke. I didn’t mind, it was cheap and we had more than enough.
Wedding day quickly came. We bought a wedding cake, a heart shaped arch and placed them in the middle of our living room. I didn’t have a bachelorette party, unfortunately. I didn’t have many close friends. Sure, I knew TONS of people (literally, all the people I know combined would weigh a ton) but none them were really special enough. Like Kerei and her friends back in the day. That was fun…
I heard from a rumor, on my wedding day, that Kerei was flirting around with Quinton. To get back at me? I don’t know. But I didn’t care. From what I heard she was STILL a candy striper at the hospital. She’s had that job since graduation and I still wonder why she’s in the tabloids at least once a month. Me?
Like every week.
We let the paparazzi in. There were a few new journalists, but we only let in the people we knew. The  blonde girl I saw at the VIP lounge was at the party. The girl who was flirting with Donny when I was talking to Tiffany Nix,Trever’s sister after the breakup drinking Passion Poms. She was new back then, but Donny’s most likely’s moved on to spanking more fresh stuff. I think Tiffany was at the party, too. I definitely remember Crissy. Crissy is from the usual paparazzi, and is the one always around me and Holden when we go out. Her and Holden are sort of friends, I think. It was certain who was going to be in the next issue of Sim Magazine. We exchanged rings and ate cake and I announced my pregnancy to everyone!
The party was a modest success. We were in the media the next day.

Holden’s fishing skills were unmatched. So much that he’d help stock the diner himself. He was also becoming very famous being the husband and baby daddy of the infamous Jolie Star. The pregnancy went well, and we had our new bundle of joy before our eyes! Hollie. Holden + Jolie combined is Hollie.
So that’s what we named her, and she is just a spoiled princess! Potty training was a fuss in the beginning. Getting her to talk was no problem because I had taught her  J. But Holden being busy with my agent who soon gave up on me because I had reached mommyhood, was the next thing. Holden took care of Hollie the most after she was born because I needed to attend to myself. The spa, relaxing, etc.
He was a doll taking care of her. But when I got my days off of work and really attended to Hollie, Holden was getting in shape and going out to promote bars and restaurants with his new agent buddy. He did do his fair share of housework and childwork, so I shouldn’t whine. He’s the one who was slowly teaching Hollie to walk.
He was especially busy when he was writing his new Sci-Fi Time Warp Infinity. Sci-Fi. Who would have thought? But definite bad timing. Right after a kid? He had time before, but I guess now was his muse. As long as celebrity wives and newborn babies are in it.
He got a lot of work from the agent for book signings especially and he was working on his new humor ‘Town’, ,hoping It would be a bestseller. But bestsellers take time and this was just his second book. His first book did well, though, considering he’s my husband. But he gave up on Hollie’s work and I had to take care of her and teach her to walk as opposed to Holden who originally wanted to but didn’t have time. My career also picked up as I was invited to a lot of outings and parties.
But in the end….or the middle….we both met and finally settled down into being parents. We didn’t go out much. Can you believe the nerve of Gwen? She had three parties and who did she invite? Not me, but the next big thing. She probably just wanted publicity. After all, I couldn’t recognize the new paparazzi anyways! I don’t even know what happened to our usual press.  It died down after a while. I hadn’t got many gigs or gone back to work for a while.
Eventually I had so much pregnancy leave off that my job just stopped calling, even when I was available. At least I could relax, but as  much as I called telling them I was ready to start doing shoots again, they never had any gigs for me. I quit my job as a superstar actor.
At least Holden had his book writing, and we had more than enough money to raise Hollie. She was starting kindergarten. I finally got my happy ever after indeed!

I wanted to start new in a new town I made in CAW. Well Plazaville WAS designed by me, but I altered it a bit and re-installed it. I'm gonna make another documentation. Smile
